WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Republican Governors Association released a new television advertisement today in the Arizona governor’s race, which illustrates lobbyist Fred DuVal’s failure to make the needs of Arizona students and families a priority.

“Lobbyist Fred DuVal is good at protecting his own wallet, but his repeated support for college tuition hikes has only hurt the wallets of Arizona families,” said RGA Communications Director Gail Gitcho. “Arizona students needed help to keep college affordable, but DuVal took every opportunity he had to vote to increase their tuition. Arizonans need a leader who will fight for and act on their priorities, not a lobbyist who is drastically out of touch.”
