RGA: McAuliffe Meltdown Embarrassing And Desperate

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Republican Governors Association Communications Director Gail Gitcho issued the following statement regarding Terry McAuliffe’s campaign meltdown over the Northern Virginia Technology Council’s political arm TechPAC’s endorsement of Ken Cuccinelli for Virginia governor:

“Terry McAuliffe’s rejection by the Northern Virginia Technology Council is just the latest example of why he is an unacceptable candidate for governor. McAuliffe’s reaction is embarrassing, desperate and shows a stunning lack of leadership that voters are looking for in their next governor. Ken Cuccinelli gained the endorsement due to his clear, thoughtful positions on the issues while McAuliffe came off as ‘uninformed and superficial.’ Ken Cuccinelli has routinely proved he is the only candidate with clear, issue-focused plans and ideas to make Virginia a great place to raise a family and start a business, while Terry McAuliffe and his cronies have no substance or plan except to attack and mislead Virginia voters.”
