RGA Launches www.LiePadByMack.com

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Republican Governors Association today launched a multi-faceted media effort to highlight Terry McAuliffe’s continued inability to tell the truth throughout the Virginia gubernatorial campaign. This includes a new weekly web video series, a new website that houses all of McAuliffe’s lies to keep them straight, and a paid-media effort of advertising through digital media and radio ads.

The website, videos, and content will be updated often to contain Terry McAuliffe’s most absurd and reckless remarks, so check back often.

You can view the new website and web video at www.LiePadByMack.com.

“Terry McAuliffe cannot be trusted to tell the truth, and Virginians cannot trust him to be their next governor. The number one concern in Virginia is jobs, and Terry McAuliffe’s number one concern is Terry,” said RGA Chairman Bobby Jindal. “Terry’s complications with the truth have made LiePad necessary. When you have so many contradictions, you need a place with sufficient disk space to store them. That’s where the RGA comes in. LiePad is a clearing house for Terry McAuliffe, who has made so many absurd and reckless remarks so often he can’t keep them all straight,” Jindal also added.

“Meanwhile, Ken Cuccinelli is a strong conservative leader who consistently puts the Commonwealth first, having led the fight against ObamaCare and the EPA. He continues to offer a specific vision on where he wants to take Virginia, putting forth substantive policy proposals on important issues like the economy, jobs, and education. Ken is the only candidate prepared to be governor on day one.”

Welcome to LiePad by Mac, where we take complex stories and simplify them for you – because the more Terry talks, the trickier things get.

Here’s an easy way to watch Terry lie to you about his car company, GreenTech:

“I actually went to China and bought their biggest electric car company, and I moved the entire company back to the United States…”

That’s a lie.

He even promised thousands of jobs in Virginia:

“The huge job creators around, we want to create jobs, thousands of jobs…”

That’s a lie.

“How many employees do you have currently?”

“Well, we probably have 15-20 up in our corporate headquarters in Tyson’s Corner.”

Next, he promised several thousand jobs in Mississippi:

“Under construction in Tunica, Mississippi, our first plant. We’re going to have several thousand employees there.”

He promised to build a massive permanent plant there, too.

Not true.

“McAuliffe came here to Mississippi last summer, with the promise of thousands of jobs and a huge manufacturing facility. But now, here we are in 2013, and the only thing on this site is some overgrown grass and some gravel.”

Terry also promised to build a 15 million square foot plant in China, but even that’s a lie.

Even state officials under Democrat Governor Tim Kaine believe Terry McAuliffe’s shady green card scheme had potential national security implications.

And now with two federal investigations ongoing, his former GreenTech partner regrets getting into business with Terry, and will not speak to him on advice of counsel.

And then, Terry quietly resigned from the company he built on lies.
