The Republican Governors Association launched its first television advertisement in the West Virginia governor’s race today, highlighting Governor Earl Ray Tomblin’s embrace of Barack Obama’s health care policies in West Virginia.
The ad can be viewed at www.WestVirginiaPays.com.
“Earl Ray Tomblin helped clear the path for implementing Obamacare in West Virginia,” said RGA communications director Mike Schrimpf. “West Virginia will never be able to thoroughly push back against the Obama administration until it switches governors.”
“Bill Maloney is the only candidate for governor voters can trust to always put West Virginia first,” Schrimpf added. “And with unemployment on the rise, it’s never been more important to elect a proven job creator as governor. It’s time for a change in Charleston.”
