RGA Launches Six-Figure Ad Buy Hitting Lujan Grisham & Biden On Border Failure

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, RGA New Mexico 2022 PAC, an affiliate of The Republican Governors Association, launched a six-figure broadcast television ad buy. The ad slams Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham for refusing to acknowledge the ever-growing border crisis created under President Biden.

“The Republican governors of Arizona and Texas refuse to allow drugs, human trafficking and cartel members to flood their states via the southern border,” said RGA spokesman Will Reinert. “Yet Michelle Lujan Grisham refuses to believe that the border crisis exists, and her inaction continues to put families’ lives in danger.”

Border State leaders like Arizona Governor Ducey and Texas Governor Abbott have tackled this catastrophe head-on:

Increasing patrols, fighting off the cartels, and sending in the national guard.

That’s what’s so disappointing about the lack of leadership from New Mexico Governor Lujan Grisham.

Instead of sending reinforcements to stop this humanitarian crisis, Lujan Grisham actually pulled National Guard troops away from the border.

In fact, she said she doesn’t even believe there is a crisis.

And she refuses to oppose Biden’s open border policy which will cause an unprecedented surge at our border over the next few months

New Mexico needs a Governor who will protect our communities and defend the border.
