RGA Launches Second West Virginia Ad

The Republican Governors Association began airing its second round of advertisements today highlighting Earl Ray Tomblin’s long record of benefiting himself at the taxpayers’ expense.

The TV ad can be viewed at www.WestVirginiaPays.com.

“During his 36 years in the legislature, Earl Ray Tomblin has consistently put his interests ahead of the taxpayers, and no amount of slick advertising will be able to cover that up,” said RGA communications director Mike Schrimpf. “Tomblin not only had the taxpayers foot the bill for undeserved pay raises and trips across the globe, but he’s even helped steer millions of dollars to his family’s business.”

“Under Earl Ray, West Virginia’s gone to the dogs, but Tomblin keeps lining his family’s pockets,” Schrimpf said. “It’s time for a proven job creator who will hold government accountable to become governor. It’s time for Bill Maloney.”
