What is Cordray Hiding From Ohio Voters?
WASHINGTON D.C. – The Republican Governors Association today announced the launch of a new digital campaign targeting Consumer Financial Protection Bureau Director Richard Cordray for his repeated refusal to answer whether he intends to run for governor of Ohio in 2018.

“With reports that he may be exploring a run for Ohio governor, Consumer Financial Protection Bureau Director Richard Cordray continues to stonewall and hide what he’s really up to,” said RGA Communications Director Jon Thompson. “With many questions about the Hatch Act still unanswered, coupled with reports that he funneled money to Barack Obama’s ad makers, Cordray seems to think he can hide his true intentions. If he plans on seeking Ohio’s highest office, he should come clean and give Ohio voters a straight answer.”
