RGA Launches Campaign Supporting Roy Barnes

The Republican Governors Association launched a new multi-media campaign supporting former governor Roy Barnes’ career as a trial lawyer.

Anchored by the website, www.1888KingRoy.com, the RGA is running advertisements to spread the word about Barnes’ illustrious litigation practice.

“Roy Barnes may have failed as a governor, but there’s no doubting that he’s thrived as a trial lawyer,” said RGA spokesman Chris Schrimpf. “His fellow failed Democrat and trial lawyer friend, John Edwards, must be proud.”

In addition to the website, which cites actual language from the website of the Barnes Law Group and highlights real cases tried by Roy Barnes, the RGA is seeking to boost Barnes’ legal career by producing a video advertisement showcasing Barnes’ long history as a money-hungry litigator.

Prospective clients are also invited to call 1-888-KING ROY (1-888-546-4769) to learn more about Barnes’ legal practice.

“Many Georgians may not be aware of all of Roy Barnes’ areas of legal expertise, but he can do it all,” Schrimpf said. “From defending accused murderers and corrupt public officials to suing doctors and filing class action lawsuits, there is nothing Roy Barnes won’t do in the courtroom if the price is right.”

“For $50,000 you can even get Roy to cry for you,” Schrimpf concluded.
