WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Republican Governors Association issued the following statement congratulating Governor Henry McMaster on being sworn in as South Carolina’s 117th governor:
“As a veteran, law enforcement official and dedicated public servant, Henry McMaster has spent his entire career leading South Carolina forward,” said RGA Chairman Scott Walker. “He has the necessary experience and leadership to hit the ground running, and will build upon Governor Nikki Haley’s successful legacy by strengthening the state’s positive business climate and creating even more opportunities through pro-growth policies. The RGA congratulates Governor Henry McMaster on becoming South Carolina’s 117th governor, and looks forward to his continued leadership for the state.”
