The Republican Governors Association congratulated Scott Walker today on his primary victory.
“Scott Walker has a personal and professional record of fiscal responsibility,” said RGA spokesman Chris Schrimpf. “Walker, who drives a 12 year old Saturn and has returned hundreds of thousands of dollars of his own salary to Milwaukee County, will bring fiscal sanity to Wisconsin. The only thing Jim Doyle’s handpicked successor, Tom Barrett, will bring is more taxes and less jobs.”
