RGA Congratulates Nebraska Governor-Elect Pete Ricketts

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Republican Governors Association issued the following statement on Pete Ricketts’s victory in Nebraska:

“Pete Ricketts is the kind of leader Nebraska deserves,” said RGA Chairman Chris Christie. “His leadership is a natural next step in building upon Governor Dave Heineman’s record of results, and he proved in this race that he has the experience and the skills to promote further growth and prosperity in the state. The Republican Governors Association is proud to congratulate Governor-elect Pete Ricketts on his victory.”

The Republican Governors Association was a key investor in Governor-elect Pete Ricketts’s victory, spending $500,000 in the summer on paid media. The RGA ran two television ads in Nebraska highlighting Democrat Chuck Hassebrook’s liberal record and his support for President Obama’s failed agenda.
