WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Republican Governors Association released the following statement congratulating former State Senator Mike Dunleavy on winning Alaska’s Republican gubernatorial nomination:
“Mike Dunleavy is a proven leader and the only candidate who can bring real change to Alaska,” said RGA Chairman Governor Bill Haslam. “As governor, Mike will implement pro-growth policies to put Alaskans back to work and restore law and order policies to reduce crime. And unlike his opponents, Mike will fix the budget crisis by cutting the bloated state budget – not by raising taxes or raiding the Permanent Fund Dividend. The RGA is proud to support Mike Dunleavy’s campaign to be the next governor of Alaska.”
