The Republican Governors Association congratulates Governor-elect Sam Brownback on his election as governor of Kansas. Brownback will succeed current Democratic governor Mark Parkinson.
“Sam Brownback was a great candidate and he’ll make an outstanding governor,” said RGA chairman Haley Barbour. “Sam understands the important issues facing the state because he’s a born and bred Kansan who’s spent years serving his state.”
