The Republican Governors Association congratulates Governor-elect Nikki Haley on her election as governor of South Carolina. The Republican Governors Association was a key investor in Nikki Haley’s victory spending more than $600,000.
“Nikki Haley is a bright new face for the Republican Party which explains why the Democrats tried so desperately to beat her,” said RGA chairman Haley Barbour. “Nikki Haley will fight for fiscal conservatism and that’s good for her state and for the country.”
The Republican Governors Association was a key investor in Nikki Haley’s victory, spending more than $600,000 on TV and radio ads that effectively defined Vincent Sheheen as an Obama liberal in South Carolinians’ own backyard.
