WASHINGTON D.C. – The Republican Governors Association released the following statement tonight after President Donald Trump’s address to a joint session of Congress.
“In his address to Congress tonight, President Trump reiterated his determination to deliver on his promises, and we are committed to working with him to help get results for the American people,” said RGA Chairman Governor Scott Walker. “President Trump understands the need to restore the balance between the states and the federal government, and with the help of Republican governors will enact conservative reforms that will restart the engine of the nation’s economy, strengthen education, protect our citizens at home and abroad, and ensure Americans have access to quality, affordable healthcare.”
