RGA Calls Out Biden for Border Crisis Absence with New Delaware Billboards, Website

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Republican Governors Association today launched WhereAreYouJoe.com and a new billboard campaign today across Wilmington, DE calling out Joe Biden for refusing to address the crisis he created at the southern border. Since Biden chooses to spend most weekends in Wilmington, the RGA decided to bring the horror of the crisis where he can’t miss it.

The website and eight billboards running throughout May and into June highlight the official trip count of Biden’s visits to Delaware versus his lack of visits to the border, as well as the staggering numbers associated with migrant border crossings, unaccompanied minors, and the deadly drugs seized.

The five billboards launching today are located at the intersections of:

  • Poplar & King St.,
  • Lombard & Front St.,
  • 4th & Church St.,
  • 12th St. & Railroad Ave., and
  • Front & King St.

Three additional billboards going up on May 9th and run until June 8 are located at the intersection of:

  • SR 48 Lancaster Pk & SR 100 Dupont Rd.,
  • SR 141 Basin Rd & West University Ave, and
  • US 13 & I-295.

“Since his inauguration, Joe Biden has spent more weekends in Delaware than in Washington, D.C. and has yet to visit the southern border to see the record high rates of migrant crossings, deadly drugs, and harmful criminals overwhelming our border states and communities,” said RGA Co-Chair Doug Ducey. “If Joe Biden won’t come to the border to see the realities of the crisis, we will continue to bring them to him.”

“Joe Biden has completely abandoned his federal responsibility to address the crisis he created at the southern border,” said Governor Greg Abbott. “Texas, Arizona, and Republican governors across the country have been forced to fill the void and fight the Biden administration’s mess as their failed policies continue to only make the problems worse.”
