RGA-Backed PAC Launches Seven-Figure Ad Campaign in New Jersey Gubernatorial Race

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Restore New Jersey, an entity supported by the Republican Governors Association, launched its first ad in the New Jersey gubernatorial election exposing Mikie Sherrill’s ridiculous “plan” to lock in higher energy costs.

The ad, titled “Up, Up, Up,” is backed by a seven-figure investment and will run on television and digital platforms.

“For years New Jersey Democrats pushed an insane green agenda that resulted in fewer power plants and increased energy costs, and now instead of solving the problem Mikie Sherrill wants to just lock in higher prices. Sherrill has proven time and again that she has nothing to offer but more of the same failed policies while New Jersey pays the price,” said Restore New Jersey Chairman Daniel Scarpinato.

VO: Mikie Sherrill supports the failed energy plan that shut down power plants to build offshore windmills.

The result – New Jersey’s electric bills tripled this summer…after double-digit rate hikes.

Yet Sherrill said…

MIKIE SHERRILL: We need to move into clean power. It’s gonna cost you an arm and a leg, but if you’re a good person you’ll do it.

VO: Now Sherrill wants to lock these high prices in… a plan so foolish it was criticized by fellow Democrat Phil Murphy.

MIKIE SHERRILL:  It’s gonna cost you an arm and a leg, but if you’re a good person you’ll do it.

VO: Mikie Sherrill. More of the same, but worse.
