RGA Ad: Jay Inslee's Conflict of Interest

The Republican Governors Association is airing a new television ad in Washington today highlighting Jay Inslee’s questionable investment in a solar company while simultaneously pushing policies that would help the industry grow.

“Jay Inslee may have invested in SunPower, but his dealings couldn’t have been shadier,” said RGA spokesman Mike Schrimpf. “An independent watchdog group called Inslee’s actions while in Congress a ‘conflict of interest’ and ‘cause for concern.’”

“Politicians like Jay Inslee are why voters have lost faith in Congress,” Schrimpf said. “Washington deserves a governor they can trust, not a D.C. insider who’s part of the problem.”
