Top 15 Most Popular Governors In America Are All Republicans

Republican governors continue to receive strong job approval ratings as they work to reform government, cut taxes, and expand opportunity. Morning Consult’s newest polling shows once again that the 15 most popular governors in America are all Republicans.

Even in an election year, GOP chief executives in historically blue states have continued to receive strong approval ratings from their constituents. Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker was rated the most popular governor in the nation, with a 69 percent approval rating, followed closely by Maryland Governor Larry Hogan, whose approval rating stands at 68 percent. Both Governor Baker and Governor Hogan continue to prove that Republicans can win and govern successfully – even in blue states.

Numerous other Republican governors running for office this year made the top 15, including Governor Kay Ivey of Alabama, Chris Sununu of New Hampshire, Asa Hutchinson of Arkansas, and Greg Abbott of Texas. Voters have made it clear: Republican governors are America’s doers, and they strongly approve of their leadership.
