With multiple polls showing Republican Businessman Bill Lee holding a double-digit lead over liberal Democrat Karl Dean, Larry Sabato’s Crystal Ball has moved their rating of the Tennessee Governor’s race from “Likely Republican” to “Safe Republican.”
Kyle Kondik, writing for Crystal Ball, notes that the race is “moving in the GOP’s direction,” with Bill Lee “up double-digits on former Nashville Mayor Karl Dean (D).” Just yesterday, a Fox News poll found Lee holds a commanding 17-point lead in the race.
With Bill Lee in strong position to win the governor’s race, Tennessee voters can be rest assured that their state will continue to head in the right direction.
