Ralph Northam Takes Partisan Shots While Ignoring Virginia Workers

In their race to the left for the Democrat nomination for Virginia’s governor’s race, Ralph Northam and Tom Perriello have spent more time campaigning against President Trump than addressing the issues facing too many Virginia families and small businesses. New video from a campaign event this weekend shows Northam asking Virginians to “keep that narcissistic maniac on the other side of the river”:

But while Northam is eager to take shots at the president in order to appease the radical liberal left, he has avoided answering the question about the positive impact President Trump’s proposed military build-up would have for Virginia families and workers, including those in his home community. Just last week, in a speech on board the USS Gerald R. Ford in Newport News, the president emphasized his proposed military buildup, promising it “will create many jobs in Virginia.” Would Ralph Northam prefer those jobs stay on the other side of the river as well?

Ralph Northam and Tom Perriello have been so focused on attacking the president that they’ve forgotten about the issues that affect working Virginians. Instead of supporting efforts that would improve vital industries like shipbuilding which provide thousands of jobs to Virginians, they would rather engage in a who-can-say-something-more-extreme soundbite game in order to placate their radical base as they race to the left to win the nomination.
