Even after he was roundly criticized for ducking a straight question on pipeline construction at Saturday’s Virginia Democrat debate, Ralph Northam still won’t tell Virginians whether or not he agrees with governor Terry McAuliffe in supporting pipeline projects, or Tom Perriello in opposing them. At last night’s Virginia Democrat forum, the failed lieutenant governor desperately dodged a question again, this time from an audience member, on the topic:
While it’s to be expected that a craven politician prone to flip flops and obfuscation like Ralph Northam would try as hard as possible to avoid giving a straight answer on an issue as decisive to Virginians as pipelines, it’s clear that even Democrat primary voters are tired of him dodging the question. There’s another Democrat debate this week in Roanoke and Virginians want to know the answer to one simple question: does Ralph Northam support the construction of gas pipelines in Virginia?
