A new poll from the Albuquerque Journal tells us what we already knew — 38% of New Mexicans were better off financially before Governor Lujan Grisham’s devastating COVID lockdowns.
And with 35% of New Mexicans citing inflation as a top concern facing their family and 24% naming economic uncertainty, this is one of the worst signs to date for Michelle Lujan Grisham’s reelection chances.
“Michelle Lujan Grisham’s lockdowns devastated families across the state,” said RGA spokesman Will Reinert. “To make matters worse, Governor Lujan Grisham supported all of President Biden’s spending bills that continue to fuel the inflation crisis and made things even harder for New Mexicans to put food on the table.”
