One Year of Charlie Crist for Governor 3.0

It’s been one year since Charlie Crist launched his third campaign for governor. And while Charlie may be leading in fundraising and polls, the primary definitely hasn’t been a walk in the park. Nikki Fried and Annette Taddeo aren’t holding back, hitting Charlie for his inconsistent policy positions and his absences in DC. And while Democrat infighting entertains us all, Governor Ron DeSantis “seems unstoppable” as he focuses on growing Florida’s economy, protecting our environment, and holding the Biden administration accountable.

But regardless of how the primary turns out, one thing remains clear: Charlie Crist is still wrong for Florida.

“From threatening to bring back mask mandates, to voting to raise taxes, to barely showing up to vote at all while still collecting a $174,000-a-year taxpayer-funded salary, Charlie Crist has failed to give Floridians a reason to trust him,” said RGA spokesperson Joanna Rodriguez. “What does remain true, is that Florida voters will reject Crist again, just like they did after his last two statewide campaigns.”
