As Ohio Veterans Call On Him To Apologize, Richard Cordray Still Refuses To Take Back His Offensive Nazi Comparisons

After he was caught on video twice comparing his political opponents to Nazis and the Holocaust, Richard Cordray still refuses to apologize for his offensive statements.

Now, after weeks of silence from Cordray, veterans of World War II are calling on him to do so.

The Cincinnati Enquirer reported in late June on video of Cordray equating Republicans who supported Governor John Kasich’s policies to Nazi collaborators. Days later, another video emerged of Cordray comparing the President and the White House to Nazis and the Holocaust. Since then, NBC Columbus has noted that Cordray still won’t back down from his comments, merely stating that “nobody’s perfect.”

After spending weeks trying to ignore his outrageous statements, it’s clear that this issue isn’t going away for Cordray. He should immediately apologize to the people of Ohio for his offensive comparisons.
