Ohio Democrats grew even more divided at tonight’s heated gubernatorial debate, with candidates accusing the state Democrat Party of “rigging” the election in favor of establishment favorite Richard Cordray. One candidate, former State Supreme Court Justice Bill O’Neill, who was until recently a good friend of Cordray’s, took aim at the Washington D.C. Bureaucrat, calling him “Prince Richard,” while accusing the Ohio Democrat Party of “trying to rig this election” in a “coronation” for Cordray.
As Ohio’s Democrat gubernatorial candidates continue to escalate their attacks on one another, with accusations of insider favoritism now flying toward Cordray, their party’s growing primary divisions do not bode well for their chances this November.
