Goodbye, adios, au revoir, sayōnara…
That’s the message the Biden administration sent to Maine lobstermen and lobsterwomen yesterday as they announced a plan to start building “large-scale wind farms along nearly the entire coastline of the United States,” according to the New York Times.
This follows Governor Mills’ own plan to destroy Maine’s lobster industry with offshore wind by crowding available waters and destroying fisheries. Plus, just weeks ago, President Biden announced a lobster fishing ban along the coast.
“Democrats’ war on Maine’s lobstermen and lobsterwomen continues as Janet Mills and Joe Biden roll out more plans to end the ability to fish off the coast,” said RGA spokesman Will Reinert. “No matter the devastation to fishing communities, nothing will stop Mills from pushing her party’s environmental agenda at the cost of an important Maine industry’s livelihood.”
