WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Republican Governors Association today launched the next video of the American Comeback project, a national advertising effort designed to tell the success stories and accomplishments of Republican governors.
This week’s featured Governor is North Dakota’s Jack Dalrymple. As a lifelong North Dakotan, Dalrymple notes that he has both witnessed and led an ongoing economic resurgence in his state. When it comes to job creation, business climate and fiscal stability, Governor Dalrymple’s North Dakota is leading the way.

“We have to break down these partisan barriers, and we’ve got to start talking to people about the practical answers for America,” said Governor Dalrymple. “I think states like North Dakota show a very good roadmap on how to go about doing that.”

“The situation in Washington is really causing our people in my state a lot of distress,” Governor Dalrymple added. “They see the disagreement every day and they see the lack of progress. They look at what we’ve done with our state government and they say, ‘Why can’t we do that in Washington, D.C.?’ We balance our budget, we keep taxes down, we’ve got reasonable regulations, and people really feel that they have a responsive government.”

“I’m proud to be one of the Republican governors who is driving America’s comeback,” said Governor Dalrymple.

In the coming weeks and months, the American Comeback project will grow to include more videos focused on individual Republican governors, their personal journeys and the progress they’ve made toward bringing prosperity to their states.
