No Comment Cordray Still Won’t Discuss CFPB Allegations of Racism, Discrimination, and Falsified Information

It’s been three days since a new report detailed alarming accusations against the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau on Richard Cordray’s watch. The whistleblower accusations of widespread racism and gender discrimination as well as the falsifying of a report to fine a payday lender occurred while Cordray was the agency’s director, but he still won’t comment on the allegations.

While Cordray has remained silent about these accusations involving his mismanaged agency, he’s found plenty of time to put out rambling tweets about his campaign events and even shared his thoughts on college football and Simon and Garfunkel. But while he has no problem speaking out on those subjects, Cordray doesn’t seem to think Ohioans deserve an explanation for the newest reported scandal at the CFPB on his watch.

Richard Cordray can’t run from his record of mismanagement at the CFPB and his shameless attempt to do so on the campaign trail further shows just how unfit he is to lead Ohio as governor.
