The sand New Mexico Governor Lujan Grisham has her head stuck in must be deep.

New Mexico border sheriffs are begging Governor Lujan Grisham for help to solve the border crisis citing the surge in dangerous drugs, like fentanyl, that are a “direct result” of “holes and gaps” in the border.

Governor Lujan Grisham’s response?

To slam Arizona and Texas’ Governors, Ducey & Abbott, for securing the border and keeping their citizens safe as “political rhetoric” and deny any “significant” problem.

What a world.

“The litany of scandals must be taking up Governor Lujan Grisham’s time,” said RGA spokesman Will Reinert. “New Mexico border sheriffs are pleading for assistance from the Governor, yet Lujan Grisham’s disconnect from reality is so great she refuses to acknowledge the crisis.”
