As they campaign on raising taxes and reversing job growth for Granite State families, New Hampshire Democrat gubernatorial candidates Molly Kelly and Steve Marchand are struggling connect with voters as doubts over their campaigns continue to grow.
New Hampshire Public Radio reports that Kelly and Marchand are “struggling to draw attention to their primary race” and “haven’t had much of an audience” after covering campaign stops by both candidates yesterday. Marchand’s event had an audience of just “four people, not including reporters and campaign staff” while Kelly’s event drew a similar reception.
As Kelly and Marchand promise tax hikes and diminished growth for New Hampshire, their message is falling flat as they struggle to find an audience.
New Hampshire Public Radio reports:
“New Hampshire’s two Democratic candidates for governor have been hitting the campaign trail hard this summer – but so far, they haven’t had much of an audience.
Molly Kelly and Steve Marchand are struggling to draw attention to their primary race…
But [Marchand’s] audience was small – four people, not including reporters and campaign staff. And that’s if you count the candidate’s mother.
‘My mom is right behind you,’ Marchand said. ‘Hey Mom!’…”
