NEW TV AD: Whitmer is a Dishonest Hypocrite

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Get Michigan Working Again, an entity supported by the Republican Governors Association, launched its third TV ad of the Michigan gubernatorial general election, highlighting the dishonesty and hypocrisy of Gretchen Whitmer.

Gretchen Whitmer’s lockdowns were among the longest and most extreme in America, keeping some students out of schools for nearly two years, banned purchasing gardening supplies, and forced families to say goodbye to loved ones through windows. Meanwhile, Whitmer’s husband was boating up north and she took secret vacations to Florida and partied maskless in Michigan and DC.

The results of Whitmer’s lockdowns have left Michigan students behind, small businesses crushed, and Michigan less competitive.

“Gretchen Whitmer is the most hypocritical governor in America, living by her own set of rules while forcing Michiganders to live under her lockdowns, crushing the economy and setting back students,” said RGA spokesman Chris Gustafson. “The sad reality of Whitmer’s tenure has left Michigan with 82,000 lost jobs, the most small business closures in the nation, and a sharp decline in reading, writing, and math scores. Tudor Dixon will give parents and small businesses a voice, get schools back to the basics, and always put families first.”
