WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Get Michigan Working Again, an affiliate of the Republican Governors Association, launched its first TV ad of the general election, highlighting Gretchen Whitmer’s hypocrisy and broken promises.
Whitmer promised to fix the roads, yet they’re still crumbling. She promised to protect Michigan workers, yet the state has lost over 82,000 jobs. And she told Michiganders to stay home while she vacationed in Florida.
Titled “Time For A Change,” the ad is part of a seven figure broadcast and cable campaign that will air across Michigan.
“Gretchen Whitmer says one thing but always does another, failing to keep her promises and subjecting Michiganders to rules that she refuses to follow herself,” said RGA spokesman Chris Gustafson. “From crumbling roads, to 82,000 lost jobs, to draconian Covid mandates, Whitmer has a track record that has failed Michigan families. Tudor Dixon is the change Michigan needs and voters are eager to fire Whitmer next month and move the state forward.”
