New RGA Washington Ad: Jay Inslee’s Risky Idea

The Republican Governors Association launched a new ad highlighting Jay Inslee’s dangerous proposal to invest the state’s pension fund in startup companies.

“As a Congressman, Jay Inslee repeatedly supported costly ideas that failed to deliver the promised results,” said RGA communications director Mike Schrimpf. “Then, as a candidate for governor, he proposed making long shot bets with public employees’ retirement funds.”

“Washington’s first responders and other state employees deserve a governor who they can trust to protect their retirement funds, not put it at great risk,” Schrimpf added. “On this critical issue, Washington can’t afford to pay for Jay Inslee’s mistakes.”
