A new Morning Consult poll shows that Texas Republican Governor Greg Abbott continues to rank as one of America’s most popular governors.
According to the poll, 57 percent of Texas voters approve of his job performance, while only 26 percent disapprove. The ranking comes as Governor Abbott remains on track to win re-election overwhelmingly with even his Democrat opponent’s former employees backing his campaign.
With Texas leading the nation in job growth and consistently ranking as the nation’s top state for business, it’s clear that Governor Abbott’s results-driven governance is resonating with voters.
