Republican businessman Bill Lee holds a commanding lead in the Tennessee governor’s race, according to a new poll out yesterday from NBC News.
The poll finds that Lee holds a 13-point lead over liberal mayor Karl Dean, the Democrat nominee. Lee leads Dean 53 percent to 40 percent.
These poll numbers continue to show that Bill Lee’s background as a conservative businessman and outsider is resonating with the people of Tennessee. Lee would continue Governor Bill Haslam’s successful record and continue to bring jobs and businesses to Tennessee.
