New Poll: Oregon Governor’s Race Remains A Dead Heat

As failed Democrat Governor Kate Brown’s mismanagement continues to weigh down her candidacy, and as Republican nominee Knute Buehler runs a strong, policy-oriented campaign, Oregon’s governor’s race has become “a squeaker.”

A new poll out yesterday from Clout Research finds that the governor’s race in deep blue Oregon is a tie, with Buehler holding a 25-point lead among independent voters. It’s “a remarkable show of strength for the challenger that mitigates the voter registration advantage that Democrats enjoy in Oregon,” according to the pollster.

This poll comes after the Washington Post profiled Buehler and wrote that Buehler’s strong campaign was “giving Democrats fits.”

Kate Brown has failed Oregon – the education system is struggling to produce results, homelessness is out of control, and Brown is responsible for mismanaging over a hundred million dollars in healthcare spending. Oregon needs a change, and that’s exactly what Knute Buehler is offering.
