Maryland GOP Governor Larry Hogan continues to gain high approval ratings across the political spectrum, despite the state’s blue leaning and 2-1 Democrat advantage over Republicans. A new poll out this week from Opinion Works shows that Governor Hogan holds a strong 67 percent job approval rating, including 65 percent among Independents. Governor Larry Hogan’s impressive performance as chief executive shows how Republicans can win and get results for their citizens – even in blue states.
The Baltimore Sun writes,
“Gov. Larry Hogan continues to soar in a new poll of Maryland voters released Tuesday… According to Annapolis-based Opinion Works, a survey taken in late October and early this month shows that 67 percent of Maryland voters approved of the Republican governor’s performance in office, while only 22 percent disapprove.”
