As GOP Governor Chris Sununu achieves bipartisan results for the Granite State, New Hampshire voters continue to strongly approve of his performance. A new poll by American Research Group gives Governor Sununu a 55 percent approval rating while only 36 percent disapprove. Voters also give Governor Sununu high marks for his handling of the economy, with the state’s unemployment rate now at a low 2.7 percent under his leadership.
After almost one full year in office, voters recognize that Governor Sununu has achieved real results for New Hampshire by spurring job growth, improving education, and tackling opioid addiction. With clear signs of support from New Hampshire voters, Governor Sununu remains in strong position for re-election in 2018.
