New Poll: GOP Governor Charlie Baker Once Again Rated As America’s Most Popular Governor

New polling shows GOP Governor Charlie Baker remains the most popular governor in America. Morning Consult’s latest survey puts Governor Baker’s approval rating at 69 percent while only 16 percent disapprove, showing that he has sustained bipartisan support from Massachusetts voters.

For months, multiple polls from numerous outlets have shown Governor Baker’s popularity rising to unprecedented heights for a blue state GOP governor in an election year. He received an identical approval rating in Morning Consult’s last survey in November while WBUR’s last poll in January put Governor Baker’s approval rating at a high 74 percent.

As Governor Baker receives overwhelming praise from Massachusetts voters from across the political spectrum, he remains in strong position as he seeks a second term.
