AGAIN? New Mexico Democrat Michelle Lujan Grisham Releases ANOTHER Deliberately Misleading TV Ad

Democrat gubernatorial nominee Michelle Lujan Grisham continues to shamelessly mislead New Mexico voters about her record.

Last month, an Associated Press fact check found that a television ad from Lujan Grisham made blatantly false claims about her record on opioids.

This week, Lujan Grisham released yet another deceptive ad with flat out misleading statements about her record on crime and supporting New Mexico’s police officers.

Here are just three examples:

Misleading On Hiring Police Officers: In the ad, Lujan Grisham says she wants to see “more police” in “every neighborhood.”  But, while on the Bernalillo County Commission, Lujan Grisham rejected a country sheriff’s request to hire 15 additional deputies, even though he argued there “aren’t enough deputies on the streets” to investigate crimes.

Misleading On Police Funding: Lujan Grisham takes credit for getting “millions of dollars” for New Mexico police while in Congress. But, in reality, Lujan Grisham has used her position in Congress to fight the Albuquerque Police Department from using a training facility that local officials called “a much-needed resource.”

Misleading On Police Technology: Lujan Grisham claims she wants to “see more police with the best technology.” But, while on the Bernalillo County Commission, Lujan Grisham refused to fully fund the county’s two police helicopters, despite a request from the sheriff.

Lujan Grisham is trying to mislead voters about her anti-police record by attempting to rewrite history. She can’t be trusted to be honest.
