New Hampshire Dem Gov Candidate Molly Kelly’s Hypocritical Attack Ads Ignore Her Own Record

Desperately trailing in recent public polls by double-digits to GOP Governor Chris Sununu, New Hampshire Democrat gubernatorial candidate Molly Kelly is ignoring her record on energy to lob partisan attacks. In her newest campaign ad, Kelly attacks Governor Sununu for taking donations from the utility company Eversource.

What she doesn’t mention in her ad is the fact that she herself also took money from the same company when it was known as PSNH, a fact that drew criticism earlier this month from her Democrat primary rival, Steve Marchand. Kelly also did not appear to have any issues with former Democrat Governor Maggie Hassan taking money from Eversource to pay for her inaugural activities when she was sworn in.

Now, desperate for momentum while national political observers sour on Democrat chances of winning New Hampshire’s highest office this November, Kelly is lobbing hypocritical attacks at Governor Sununu, hoping they will breathe life into her struggling campaign. She continues to show New Hampshire voters that she will say anything just to win their vote.
