As Stacey Abrams is set to reveal her economic plan for Georgia, the Kemp campaign has exposed her actual plan.
It turns out Abrams wrote an op-ed the last time America was entering a recession, and boy is it something else. Among other things, Abrams:
- Advocates for more taxes as Americans are paying more for everything, saying they are necessary for a “healthy” and “vibrant” Georgia
- Endorses big government
- Calls Georgians spoiled and tells them to “get real”
“Pushing for more taxes on Georgians as America enters a recession is an intriguing political strategy by Stacey Abrams,” said RGA Spokeswoman Maddie Anderson. “If she was pushing for tax increases during the last recession while she was a member of the Georgia House, just imagine what she would do as chief executive of the state of Georgia.”
