Nevada Dem Gov Candidate Steve Sisolak To Voters: Don’t Ask Me Tough Questions

Hoping to avoid any embarrassing gaffes on the campaign trail, Nevada Democrat gubernatorial candidate Steve Sisolak is now telling voters to refrain from asking tough questions. In new audio from a recent campaign event, Sisolak asks attendees to avoid questions “that might be difficult” because he doesn’t know who is in the audience:

STEVE SISOLAK: “So I’d like to take some questions and I’d be happy to answer anything for you. I do want to let the people know that if there’s a tracker, and there very well could be trackers, what trackers do is they follow me… But I’m not worried about me, I’m worried about you. If you ask me a question that might be difficult, you might be the subject of a commercial that relates to me…”

Perhaps Sisolak, now facing a tough primary, is worried that he might once again say something absurd. Like last month, when he was caught on video claiming that it was “unfortunate” that public school teachers do not have the “privilege” to slap misbehaving students. It seems Sisolak is too worried about the possibility of political embarrassment to answer “difficult” questions from Nevada voters.
