As Ned Lamont Embraces Malloy’s Anti-Jobs Policies, CEO’s Rank Connecticut As One of the Worst States For Business

After nearly eight years of failed Democrat rule, Connecticut’s poor reputation as hostile to business and jobs continues to hurt the state. In new annual state business rankings by Chief Executive Magazine, which surveyed more than 500 CEO’s, Connecticut was once again ranked as one of the worst states for businesses in America.

This latest bottom five ranking comes after a year of repeated fiscal crises, credit downgrades, and anemic employment growth while employers have fled the state, taking jobs with them. Instead of taking action to address his state’s failing economy, Failed Governor Dan Malloy has tried to inflate job numbers to hide his administration’s lack of results from the public, while Democrat gubernatorial candidate Ned Lamont embraces Malloy’s policies and buries his head in the sand on Connecticut’s most pressing issues.

As Connecticut continues to decline economically thanks to failed Democrat policies, Lamont has made it clear that he would continue Dan Malloy’s failed economic agenda that includes anti-jobs policies and tax increases. Connecticut voters are making it clear: they are ready to turn the page on this era of failure – but Ned Lamont – like Malloy – is too out-of-touch to understand.
