Murphy refuses to demand Biden end border crisis

Three northeast state Governors, along with 23 other GOP governors, today requested a meeting with President Biden to demand he end the crisis at the border.

But as crime continues to rise in NJ as a result of Biden’s open border policy, Phil Murphy refuses to acknowledge the crisis.

Instead, Murphy banned jails from signing new contracts with the federal government to hold illegal immigrants, made NJ a sanctuary state for illegal immigrants and wants to pass out $40 million in taxpayer money to illegal immigrants.

“Not only does Governor Murphy refuse to demand an end to the border crisis fueling the rise in drugs and crime in his state, he implemented policies that encouraged crisis,” said RGA spokesman Will Reinert. “While Murphy’s neighboring state Governors want to secure the border to keep their citizens safe, Murphy is all too happy to blame the ‘weather,’ instead of Biden’s open border policies for his state’s crime wave.”
