Republican governors continue to receive strong job approval ratings as they deliver results and achieve meaningful reform for the people of their states.
The latest Morning Consult polling shows once again that the top ten most popular governors in America are all Republican governors. Leading the list are Governors Charlie Baker of Massachusetts and Larry Hogan of Maryland, both of whom have maintained sky-high approval ratings while leading two of the nation’s bluest states. Rounding out the top ten were governors Kay Ivey of Alabama, Chris Sununu of New Hampshire, Dennis Daugaard of South Dakota, Asa Hutchinson of Arkansas, Greg Abbott of Texas, Brian Sandoval of Nevada, Nathan Deal of Georgia, and Gary Herbert of Utah.
Six of the top ten are governors running for re-election or a full term this November, and as this poll shows, voters are set to reward each of them with another term.
Republican governors continue to show why they are known as America’s Doers – they tell voters exactly what they are going to do, and then they do it. Republican governors get the job done.
