More than 40% of New Mexicans can’t pay their energy bills every month, and the average price of a gallon of gas is $4.03 in the state. Yet, nothing will stop Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham from releasing a new rule to make prices even higher.
In a Friday news dump, Governor Lujan Grisham adopted a “Green New Deal” style rule for oil and gas producers that will further increase the costs of oil and gas and devastate already struggling families.
In short, more pain at the pump is on the way, and New Mexicans can blame MLG.
“Michelle Lujan Grisham is not concerned with working families. Her goal remains to impress radical D.C. Democrats like AOC,” said RGA spokesman Will Reinert. “Local Democrats in the state legislature already rejected her extreme environmental plans as gas prices remain out of control, yet Governor Lujan Grisham still felt the need to implement as much of the ‘Green New Deal’ as she can by executive order.”

Glad to be a part of the ribbon cutting for a new neighborhood in Hudson yesterday.
With a new 60-day permitting process for housing, we’ve taken meaningful steps to tackle our housing shortage and keep New Hampshire growing.
Less red tape, more ribbon cuttings! https://t.co/x254Xw8SXD
.@SpanbergerforVA’s track record in Washington says it all: she wants to destroy American Energy Independence.
Abigail Spanberger’s energy plan is a roadmap to ruin. Banning gas cars. Killing jobs. Crushing families under a radical progressive agenda.
