It’s official. Governor Lujan Grisham is the worst of the worst.
Unemployment numbers just released by the Labor Department ranks NM dead last with the highest unemployment rates in the nation and more than a percentage point worse than any neighboring state.
Meanwhile, Governor Lujan Grisham still refuses to end extended federal unemployment benefits for people who have not yet returned to work.
“New Mexico small business owners struggle to find workers, but under Governor Lujan Grisham the state’s workforce remains sluggish to fill the needs,” said RGA spokesman Will Reinert. “With the worst unemployment rate in the nation added to the list, it’s difficult to think of a single issue not completely mismanaged by Michelle Lujan Grisham.”
