Governor Mills loves her anti-lobster fishing friends.
How much? As much love as $1.4 million in campaign contributions from the Maine Conservation Voters can buy, and she is hanging out and speaking to the group tonight.
Maybe Maine Conservation Voters wrote this talking point for her…
“If Janet Mills supported Maine’s lobstermen and lobsterwomen she would not be speaking tonight to the very group trying to destroy their livelihoods,” said RGA spokesman Will Reinert. “Mills refused to support the lobster industry when Joe Biden proposed a fishing ban in the Gulf of Maine, and unless Mills gets the boot next November, say goodbye to prosperous coastal communities across the state.”
